Who
We Are
With diabetes on the
rise and a growing aging population, chronic wounds are becoming a problem
across America. More than 80,000 people with diabetes in the U.S. undergo
lower extremity amputation every year. A foot ulcer precedes amputation
in about 85% of those patients. The hardship of amputation can often be
prevented through early intervention by a highly qualified wound care
staff. The mission of Wound Care Systems is to provide hospitals with
a comprehensive, state-of-the-art wound care program that involves minimal
risk, low operational costs, and impressive financial returns.
Wound Care Systems
partners with hospitals to offer all aspects of the management and operation
of cutting-edge wound centers. Identification of the service area, presentation
of the comprehensive plan to the hospital board, and oversight of the
facility setup are among the many initial services that we provide.
We supply all necessary
hyperbaric equipment as well as billable procedure lists, protocols, supply
lists, manuals, and job descriptions so that your facility can operate
with maximum effectiveness.
A small staff in
a relatively limited space can easily operate a multi-chamber facility.
Local physicians will be trained in the nuances of hyperbaric medicine
while our dynamic management team provides on-going support with the goal
of maintaining efficiency and profitability. |
